The Alum Rock Park Rangers are hosting a FREE 60-minute guided hike along historical trails. The Alum Rock Park Rangers are hosting a FREE 60-minute guided hike along historical trails. This low difficulty hike is approximately 1.5 mile and perfect for all ages and skill levels. Rangers will educate hikers on the natural and cultural history of the park, wildlife and seasonal flora and fauna along the Deep Box Canyon;. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable closed-toed walking or hiking shoes. This hike is not wheelchair accessible. The meeting location for this hike will be in the Eagle Rock parking lot of Alum Rock Park on Penitencia Creek Road at 9:50 a.m. every Sunday, starting August 22, 2021. Please register for this free event at least 24 hours in advance.
