Our family is a fun and busy one! I'm an academic historian turned full-time writer and my spouse is an architect turned AI robot-maker. We have two children (both under 4) and 3 aging parents (whose care we manage remotely). We could use some part-time help during the week. Specific hours are flexible. Generous pay for the right candidate! Problems you will solve: We *don't* need childcare or a house cleaner (we have amazing folks helping on both fronts), but we do need help with just about everything else domestic... -Meal prep/meal planning: set things up so we can make dinner easily—even with our hair on fire! This would involve keeping the kitchen well stocked, thinking about meals, washing vegetables, and occasionally even firing up the Instapot. -Organize: introduce order and sustainable systems to the kitchen and laundry rooms. (We recently moved in, and there is chaos below the surface.) -Laundry: help with laundry (kids make a lot of it!) -Tidying: Help to keep the insanity (sic toys) at bay. Help to keep the kitchen clean. -Errands: run to the post office, drugstore, etc. All about you: -You have a positive can-do attitude. -You’re ready and willing to jump in and help, wherever you see an opportunity. -You are an organizational MASTERMIND: Your organizational systems have organizational systems. Nice to have: -You are a capable writer who can help with basic household and business correspondence -You love children (ours are 3 and 9 months!)
