This position is required to demonstrate integrity and sound judgment in performing duties; possess the ability to supervise, train and motivate staff and recommend appropriate personnel actions.Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English/ Spanish both written and verbal form with all levels within the company and establish and maintain productive and effective, inclusive working relationships amongst diverse populations including staff, faculty, administration, and other internal and external constituents. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: • Responsible for customer satisfaction and confidence in Special Service work throughout the company. • Schedule all heavy work so as to complete the work as promised to the client. (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually.) • Develop and maintain necessary staffing to complete heavy work on schedule. • Assure adequate inventory of all customer supplies at each account. • Maintain awareness of each customer's supply needs. EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION: • Equipment Care. • Develop a system for the scheduled repair and refurbishing of maintenance equipment. • Participate in training employees to assure that they have adequate skill and knowledge in cleaning techniques and use of supplies and equipment. GROWTH: • Assure adequate staffing to maintain projected growth in new customer, supply resale, and special services. • Increase billing (revenues) through service/supply sales to existing customer, new customers, and one-time customers. • Profit SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT: • Control budgets for all equipment and supplies in the Special Services Department. • Assure proper chemical usage to minimize expense. • Special Services Billing. • Complete monthly inventory of Special Service supplies. • Assist administration with generating purchase orders and special service billing. • Have a good understanding of the National Service Alliance program and maximize the pricing on all equipment and chemical purchases. • Take action to insure profit margin of special services is at maximum. • Consider ways and methods to increase special services to all existing customers first, then to any outside customers. SPECIAL SERVICES: • Establish labor budgets for all work. • Control labor expense nightly and deal with over budget time immediately. • Assure that all special service billing is submitted and processed properly. • Assist Area Manager in increasing customer heavy work billing as needed and communicate with customers or operations regarding price. This usually occurs at the same time the maintenance billing is being reviewed and/or increased. • Develop and present, if necessary, heavy work proposals and prices for new accounts as well as for existing accounts that request review of their heavy work. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Site visits with clients to develop and present Special Service proposals and prices for new accounts as well as for existing accounts that request review of their Special Service work. • Reporting. • Weekly heavy work report completed to Manager by 8:00 a.m. Monday. • Equipment repair. • Order repair parts. • Track equipment and chemical usage. • Use check-out system for anyone using keys. Also responsible for cabinet organization, key locations, and key checkouts. • Attend all staff meetings. • Attend company meetings. • Attend all company functions. LANGUAGE SKILLS: • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedures manuals. • Ability to write reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Commitment to excellence and high standards • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English/ Spanish • Proven leadership and business acumen skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills • Proficient on Microsoft Office products • Ability to learn internal quality control, time keeping, and other internal systems usage • Ability to manage priorities and workflow • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions • Reliable attendance required • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace • California driver’s licenses (Real ID) and clean DMVR Apply in person at: 7654 Bell Road, Windsor, CA Contact phone number: 707-849-5577
