ROLE: FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT – LEVEL 1 ECO-CHEK Compliance, Inc. is looking to hire a Field Service Technician Assistant. This position will be accompanied by a Field Technician at all times. After 3 months, depending on performance and skill set, additional COMPANY PAID training can be provided to increase Assistant’s knowledge and advance in the field of testing. A suitable match for aptitude, skill set as well as demonstrated sustained superior performance is required for this to occur. Training that follows the conclusion of the 90-day probation period can lead to a Field Service Technician – Level I position. Job Responsibilities The job comprises of providing assistance to a technician while in the field performing petroleum product testing. The assistant’s duties include: • Providing the field service technician (FST) with Tools and equipment while performing tests • Assisting the FST with data recording on pre-approved test result forms • Assist the FST with completion of time sheets, material lists and job tickets • Assist the FST with Installation, troubleshooting, repair as needed • Assist the FST with performing preventive maintenance on diagnostic instrumentation • Assist the FST in use, acquisition, disposal and maintenance of equipment inventory as needed • Assist the FST in protecting and maintenance of company assets while in the field • Commuting expenses are paid from a fixed designated point based on the form of transportation used. Relocation expenses are not company paid Job Qualifications • Must have graduated high school • Able to speak and write English Fluently • A current California driver's license is required – Must be able at start of every work day to meet Field Service Technician at designated place of work. • An insurable driving record.
