ROLE: FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – LEVEL II ECO-CHEK Compliance, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician – Level II. The position is for an experienced technician and is expected to be able to perform compliance testing. Knowledge of testing process is assumed. We are based in the East Bay region of California (Lafayette, 94549). Job Responsibilities • Performs testing at various sites containing Underground and Above ground storage petroleum tanks as well as a variety of other petroleum management products and installations. • Completes test in compliance with California state regulation and local resource board oversight bodies. • data recording on pre-approved test result forms • performs preventive maintenance on diagnostic instrumentation • Installs, troubleshoots, does repair as needed • Protects and maintenance of company assets while in the field • acquisition, disposal and maintenance of equipment inventory as needed Job Qualifications • MUST HAVE Experienced knowledge of petroleum, mechanical and/or hydraulic equipment, knowledge of SB-989 secondary containment testing, annual monitoring certification, vapor source testing and Meter Calibration tests at a minimum • NICE TO HAVE Expertise in ONE or MORE of the following areas: o Maintaining/repairing petroleum equipment o Basic plumbing experience o Basic electrical (AC/DC) o General construction experience o General maintenance experience • Able to speak and write English Fluently • A current California driver's license is required • The technician must be able to follow company safety policies and procedures, perform physical labor in various weather conditions in the bay area and interact with customers/coworkers with professionalism • An insurable driving record.
