Maltese would do well in a home that does not have children in it. He is a special dog. When I adopted him years ago he showed some signs of fear aggression. Im pretty sure that he was abused as a puppy. Ive spent years getting him socialized and trained. He is much better now, however I dont believe he will ever be a great candidate for a dog park as he does not get along with all dogs. He does well with some relaxed dogs. He spent years with a cat without any issues. He is super smart and wants to be a good dog. He just needs guidance as to what that means. I know that Maltese still has many years of love and life yet to give and that he will be an amazing companion for the right person. Please consider adopting Maltese.
