Weaving in the Round

Description

In this two hour class, you will learn how to prepare a round loom, add warp threads, and weave into the loom you have made. Beginning weavers and more advanced weavers are welcome. All materials are provided, but if you have yarn you like and would like to use, feel free to bring your own yarn. Project will not be completed within the class, but will be started and you will have sufficient training and supplies to complete the project at home. Professional artist and teacher, Crystal holds a Masters degree in art education and a Master of Arts degree in drawing and painting. Crystal taught middle school and high school art in Greenville County for 17 years, before retiring to pursue painting full time. Crystal is a founding member of the White Rabbit Fine Art gallery in Travelers Rest, SC.
