2nd/3rd grade Teacher or tutor wanted for a Covid conscious homeschool learning program focused on social emotional growth and fun learning of English language arts and math. Our ideal teacher/tutor: -enjoys working with a small group kids (4), ages 6-7 years old and second-third grade academic levels -is energetic, organized, creative, caring, positive and fun -has a strong understanding of children’s developmental levels and believes in their abilities to grow and develop to their fullest potential -makes the learning fun, hands-on, project or game based, playful -enjoys using modern curriculum and teaching techniques -has experience teaching elementary age kids The position is part time for 2-3 hours per day in the morning, four days a week. The classroom is in Aptos in an indoor/outdoor environment and all participants will be wearing masks. The pay is based on experience.
