Dorian's 40th & Fundraiser, benefiting The Just One Project Join us for an evening of open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and of course good times - to celebrate Dorian Stonebarger and her life dedicated to doing good things, Saturday, Aug 28th at 7 pm. MORE ABOUT THE FUNDRAISER: In an attempt to overachieve, as usual, Dorian has set an unbelievable goal to raise $1 for every day that she's been alive. That is $14,611 for a total of 14,611 days on earth. LET'S DO THE MATH: 40 years x 365 days + 10 leap days + Just One day (her birthday is actually the day before, August 27th) = 14,611 days on planet earth. To help reach this enormous goal, we've broken up Dorian's life into ticket amounts based on months and years of existence - so for example - to get a ticket for the event at ReBAR/Davy's, you'll need to donate a minimum of 3 months of Dorian's life: 90 days = $90. If you're a dear friend or acquaintance, maybe you can afford to donate six months of Dorian's life = $180. If you're a very special friend or family member, hopefully, you will consider donating an entire year of Dorian's life = $365! Even if you cannot attend the party - Please consider donating to the cause. Through your donation, The Just One Project can continue to provide desperately needed nourishment and services to individuals suffering from food insecurity in Southern Nevada. REMEMBER: Every donation is tax-deductible, and receipts will be provided through this Eventbrite website after purchase, to be used for your records. MORE ABOUT THE BENEFACTOR: The Just One Project was founded on the idea that it takes Just One person to make a difference. Centered on providing opportunities to connect individuals directly to our community through volunteerism, The Just One Project quickly became the largest non-profit food distribution agency in the valley. Using food as the initial exchange, Just One has expanded to provide wraparound services through their Community Market, rapid rehousing for people experiencing homelessness, and leadership development programs for youth. I am so grateful for every one of you in my life, and I'm looking forward to celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime birthday with you. I also want for nothing, which is why I've chosen to set another milestone for this birthday and hope to raise the most amount of money I have to date, for a non-profit that is truly doing everything it can to strengthen our community.
