Everett automotive shop immediate opening for shop custodian and some maintenance. Job duties will include but not be limited to: 1. Service and maintain all doors, gates, windows, locks, etc., throughout the building and premises. 2. Maintain the compressed air system including servicing and repairing air compressors, air lines, filters, dryers, etc. 3. Service and maintain all light fixtures and lighting equipment. Keep an ample inventory of bulbs and ballasts. Regularly shop for the best value on the items required. 4. Maintain the spray booth including blowers, fans, filters, heaters and related hardware. Keep an adequate supply of filters in stock and any other consumable products at all times. 5. Service and maintain all electrical and hydraulic equipment including, but not limited to, jacks, lifts, welders, heaters, frame machine, etc. 6. Conduct the daily cleaning and housekeeping of the interior of the work shop and offices. This includes the daily emptying of the waste cans, sweeping of the floors, disposing of old unwanted car parts, cleaning the spray booth and placing tools and equipment in their proper location. 7. Attend the daily release meeting to receive any special work assignments or projects for the day. 8. Service and maintain all company vehicles on a monthly basis. This includes checking lights, fluids, tires, brakes and other systems and equipment to ensure that all vehicles are in safe and proper working order. 9. Be willing to run errands and make pick ups and deliveries as needed. 10. Carefully monitor the performance of any subcontractors such as plumbers, electricians, or any other outside service. 11. Service and maintain the parking lots in a neat and orderly fashion. 12. Provide a complete set of tools adequate for conducting the tasks outlined above. Be sure to store all tools in a mobile or portable tool box or cart. 13. Maintain a date log for monitoring the maintenance and service to those items requiring service at regularly scheduled intervals. 14.
