Our mission is to support people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services. We are currently seeking a Technician I to join our Minor Home Repair Team in Seattle, WA! The Technician I will provide general home maintenance services such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry. • Pay Rate: $22.89 Hourly • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Benefits • 3 weeks paid vacation to start! Responsibilities • Independently perform semi-skilled work in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. • Under the technical direction of a journey-level trades worker or the director of the program, perform skilled work in electrical, plumbing and carpentry. • Perform minor home repairs in the following categories: plumbing, electrical, carpentry and retrofit. • Operate hand tools, power tools and other equipment as needed. • Operate automotive equipment to transport materials and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of organization vehicles. Report all vehicle performance or safety issues to manager. • Maintain accurate and complete records. • Comply with established safety guidelines and procedures. Qualifications • High School Diploma OR Equivalent • Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes. • Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry fields. • Must have a valid WA State Driver’s License.
