JOB DESCRIPTION: Yards Done Right is a local landscape company and provider of high quality Landscaping Maintenance and Installations. We work with our customers to enhance their property and get them the best solution for their needs. We are a growing, locally rooted, small business that is looking for an EXCEPTIONAL candidate that can exude positivity, while improving the quality of multiple residential landscapes throughout the Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater area. We need someone with experience who can roll with the positive and negative moments that their work as a landscape tech brings. Therefore levity, and a sense of humor is a real asset. This is hard work that requires a strong work ethic and someone who is a diligent team player. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: As an exceptional team member you will be working with a crew on different residential projects, short or long term. You will be installing hardscapes such as patios and retaining walls, laying sod, and/or planting trees, shrubs or flowers. Responsibilities will include: Tracking your own time with our scheduling service on your smartphone. Heavy lifting and bending, proper form is important so as not to injure yourself. Taking direction. Ask questions. We work year-round, so you must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must come prepared with proper footwear and rain gear if necessary. We take our breaks on site so come prepared with food and water. Positive, resilient, and service-centered personality, someone who takes punctuality, attentiveness, and accountability to their coworkers, supporting management, and our valued clients to the NEXT LEVEL. You must possess the BASICS of a DRIVER'S LICENSE. Must have, at minimum, 2 YEARS within landscaping or gardening. WE USE POWER TOOLS. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. Smartphone with service required. Open availability 7 days a week is absolutely necessary as the rainy season comes on.
