Grape harvest 2021

We head to the suburbs to pick grapes in a private vineyard Help us pick the 2021 vintage of Edelweiss grapes at a beautiful private vineyard located between Lake Elmo and Stillwater. Meet at Urban Forage (3016 E. Lake St, Minneapolis) at 1:00 to caravan or carpool ,or alternately meet at the vineyard (address given on the day of event) at 1:30. We will pick grapes for 4 hours, finishing at 5:30 or thereabouts. We will supply water, but cannot supply food or other beverages to members of the public according to Lake Elmo city ordinances (yes, really). Bring a snack if you like, and dress for the weather. There have been wasps in the vineyard in the past, so be aware that there could be again, though we have not seen any yet this year. Upon return to Urban Forage we will enjoy some complimentary pizza and beverages. The date of harvest is dependent on the grapes continuing to ripen at the pace they are currently at.
