Please send resume to [email protected] JOB DESCRIPTION Under the supervision of the General Manager the (Plant Manager or Production Supervisor) • Supervises schedule adherence, assigns and directs work, and appraises and motivates for performance • Supervises employees, which includes the initial training of the new hires prior to actual work performed. • Build motivation among team members in order to achieve Company financial targets • Supervises work performed in the facility laundry areas including the following areas : receiving, cleaning and distribution of laundry. • Must be accessible to assist whenever needed. • Must effectively communicate business expectations to all team members. • Drive results of the strategic business operations plan through continuous improvement and leadership accountability in the following areas: safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and growth • Implement and maintain a predictive and preventative maintenance program • Ensure company development initiatives are carried out to their fullest, including Safety-Work observation, preventative maintenance, lean enterprise principles. • Responsible for documenting/addressing employee’s unsatisfactory production performance and/or discipline issues as needed to correct unsatisfactory behavior within company’s established guidelines. • Consults with management any hiring and/or terminations • Partner with Human Resources on staffing needs and requirements, training, policy administration and adherence, coaching, counseling, and regulatory compliance • Knowledge and implementation of OSHA regulatory compliance procedures plus blood-borne pathogens and universal precaution guidelines and standards. This position is responsible for the daily operations of laundry facility while processes linens and other related textiles for the healthcare industry. Duties include planning, implementing, and directing all activities after discussing them with the Plant General Manager. Evaluates effectiveness to achieve departmental/company goals and objectives.
