Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful as we create a community garden in Forest Hills. Community volunteers will work with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful to install two hydroponic grow towers and create and a pollinator garden. The gardens will then be used by neighbors, volunteers and students as they participate in hands-on activities and learn how to grow fresh, healthy food and learn about nutrition and healthy eating. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 Forest Hills Park Community Center 724 W 109th Ave Tampa, FL 33612 Check-in: 7:30 a.m. Project: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (or until completion) What to bring:• Sunscreen• Hat/Sunglasses• Protective footwear (close-toed, no sandals or flip-flops)• Insect Repellent• Reusable water-bottle• Snack• Mask Provided: Gloves , Water and Snack Promotional giveaways available while supplies last.
