General Labor & Journeyman This position will be required to perform tasks involving physical labor and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. This position will be responsible for efficient work production per foreman's instructions, follow established procedures and follow all safety protocols and workplace policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · The desired candidate will be efficient and diligent in their work ethics. · Ideal candidate will arrive to all job sites looking presentable while promoting good hygiene. • Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools. • Be aware of and follow location and work center safety and security policies and procedures. • This is a hands-on field position, so the applicant needs to be physically fit to perform the tasks within the project scope of work and be willing to work extra hours and occasional weekends. • This position will lift up to 50+ pounds unassisted. • Clean, prepare and perform duties at work-site. • Load, unload and identify building materials, machinery, and tools. Use and distribute them to the appropriate locations per foreman and according to project plans and specifications. · Current valid driver's license, auto insurance, clean DMV record, must have a truck to work out of. · Health insurance after 90 days. Paid vacation after 1 year. Required Skills and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Construction experience preferred in a similar role • Requires good manual dexterity (hand, arm, and multi-limb coordination) Position is safety sensitive Job Type: Full-time - contingent on employee’s performance and attendance. Salary: Varies depending on skills and experience Day shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. It can vary per project.
