There will be plenty of time allowed for discussion and questions afterwards. Local 4 meteorologist Paul Gross was born in Detroit and has spent his entire life and career right here in southeast Michigan. Paul studied meteorology at the University of Michigan Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Science, and has worked at WDIV-TV Local 4 since 1983. Paul is one of only six meteorologists in the world ever named an American Meteorological Society Certified Consulting Meteorologist and Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and also a Fellow of the AMS. He has reported on climate change since the early 1990s, has traveled the world to meet and interview some of our planet’s most eminent climate scientists, and is considered one of the nation’s most respected communicators about the actual truth of climate change without the politics. Paul has been awarded ten Emmy Awards by the Michigan chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences for his meteorological and science reporting. Program held inside the Calf Barn, 1005 Van Hoosen Rd., Rochester Hills, MI Smart Towns is a lifelong learning program led by educational, non-profit organizations in Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township.
