COMPANY DESCRIPTION Empire Auto Parts is a leading, fast-growing provider of aftermarket collision automobile parts to independent body shops, multi-shop operators, and dealer-operated body shops across fifteen states throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Associate is to be a team player and be able and willing to go the extra mile. Specific Responsibilities: • Process, package, and ship orders accurately • Organize stocks and maintain inventory • Inspect products for defects and damages • Examine ingoing and outgoing deliveries • Organize warehouse space • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately • Check, verify and fill customer invoices • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations • Keep warehouse clean and organized daily • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor KEY SELECTION CRITERIA • Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively • Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements • Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory • Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system PERSONAL / PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES • Possesses a friendly and sincere demeanor • Ability to work well in a team environment • Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented • Previous experience desirable; knowledge of auto parts and/or forklift training and certification is a plus • High school diploma or equivalent is a plus • Must be at least 18 years old
