The Chelmsford Public Library is activated as a limited-service cooling station from Aug. 11th through Aug. 13th.
According to officials from the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), the region will see heat indices of 100°F to 109°F over the three-day period, and a heat advisory has been issued for the area.
The library hours of operation are Mon - Thu: 9:30am -8:30pm, Fri-Sat: 9:30am - 5:00pm, Sun: Closed.
