Press release from City of Braintree: August 11, 2021 Mayor Kokoros is pleased to announce the release of the new "Petersen Pool/Skating Rink Complex" Request for Proposals ("RFP"). The RFP can be found here. Proposals for the Complex must include at least one skating rink with an ice surface 200 feet long and 85 feet wide and a Junior Olympic size (75 feet long by 70 feet wide) swimming pool with a one-meter diving board, diving area with twelve (12) foot depth, twenty (20) foot head clearance and a walk-in area. Proposals are due on September 8th by 12:00 pm to Kate Naughton at Braintree Town Hall, 1 JFK Memorial Drive, with proposal evaluations and award anticipated by late September 2021.  This press release was produced by City of Braintree.
