Description
GLEN COVE, NY — Glen Cove residents are encouraged to weigh in on a project intended to help the city prepare for future climate change impacts, such as rising sea levels and greenhouse gas emissions.
The Western Gateway project, as it's called, is funded by a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation grant. The study area is located southwest of downtown Glen Cove, along the south side of Glen Cove Creek, according to officials. It includes Shore Road from Morris Avenue to Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Cove Avenue from Shore Road to Pratt Boulevard/SR107, Park Place, and Morris Avenue.
