while I've never posted on Craigslist for childcare there's a first for everything! about me: 15+ years of experience working with kids in primarily childcare, educational and sport settings. Specializing in... -working with lgbtqia+ families and trans affirming care -neurodivergence (adhd/autism)- empowering kids with tools and techniques. meeting them with patience, understanding and appreciation of their unique skills and perspective -art education, crafts- happy to set up more formal lessons or stick with impromptu creative fun -bicycles, outdoor activities and sports (*bike families* message me!! we have a lot to talk about :D) -tiring your kid out. Yes, I'm the childcare provider who actively plays with your kid(s). will take them to the park, library, museum, play board games, read books, make blanket forts, encourage imaginative and active play -tutoring -community, healing and advocacy work -observing, listening to kids and doing what I can to help support them in their passions and navigating life what I don't have: a car. In the past we've ridden bikes, walked together or utilized a guardians vehicle for essential transportation. I've both ridden with kids, teaching them bike safety, and/or hauled them via bike trailer Hourly or flat pay rate negotiable and dependent on varying factors so if you're interested let's talk!
