MANCHESTER, CT — A couple in a car with faded paint and a taped-up window held up a Manchester fast food restaurant Wednesday morning through the drive-up window, police said. The caper took place at the Wendy's at 105 Buckland St. between 8:30 and 9 a.m., police said. Manchester Police Department spokesman Lt. Ryan Shea said what appeared to be an older model black Acura pulled up to the window and a woman then climbed through the window. Police are trying to determine whether she had a gun or just began grabbing money, Shea said. The woman was described as being "30-ish" with blonde hair in police communications. Early indications were that a man was driving the getaway car, police said. The Acura had faded black paint and a cracked window was being held together by tape, Shea said. The Acura sped from the scene, Shea said.
