Evansville police are asking for your help finding the driver in a fatal hit and run accident.
According to a release, it happened just after midnight Sunday morning in the 1000 block of North Fulton Avenue in Evansville.
Witnesses said a light colored passenger car hit a pedestrian while driving south on Fulton. They said the car did not stop and continued southbound on Fulton Avenue.
Evansville police found the victim lying in the street with severe injuries. The victim later died at a local hospital. The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name at a later time.
If you have any information about the fatal hit and run, you're asked to contact Evansville police.
Indiana Conservation Officers have released a cause of death in an incident at a Princeton swimming pool this week, but are reluctant to release any other information in their ongoing investigation.
