SAN RAFAEL, CA –City officials on Wednesday updated plans for the closure of major San Rafael freeway offramp this weekend. The Highway 101 Northbound Central San Rafael off-ramp will be fully closed from Friday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 9 a.m. (The off-ramp was originally supposed to be closed from 11 p.m. on Friday to 7 a.m. on Saturday.) The closure will allow crews to work on the Central San Rafael Harbor Bridge Replacement. The project will cost an estimated $14.7 million, Caltrans said. Motorists are advised to plan routes accordingly, city officials said. These proposed schedules are subject to change according to Caltrans.
