MONTGOMERY, AL — Trussville's Danny Garrett is the new chair of Alabama's Ways and Means Education Budget Committee. Garrett (R-Trussville)was appointed to the post Monday by House Speaker Mac McCutcheon, according to the Trussvulle Tribune. Garrett has served District 44 in the Alabama House of Representatives since 2014, and plans to run for re-election in 2022, he said.
