Hello! Covid has changed the way things are currently being handled in early childcare and the idea of what a preschool classroom looks like has evolved during these unprecedented times. I am so pleased to be able to offer this amazing and unique opportunity to families this coming fall. During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to work with several families out of an amazing, privately owned space, in Mount Washington on the outskirts of Highland Park, offering care for six children. It was such a great experience I have decided to start another pod for the fall. There are six spaces available for kiddos aged between 3 and 5 during the 2021-2022 calendar year. The program will begin September 8th and run until June 10th. The space itself is primarily an outdoor playscape that is beautifully landscaped, giving the children an opportunity to experience a preschool classroom unlike any other. Care will be provided for the children M-F between the hours of 9am and 4pm at a weekly rate of $240.00. A little about myself and a glimpse into my background: I have years of experience in the Early Childhood field as a teacher and a former Director (references and unsolicited YELP reviews available), working with children ranging between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years of age. I am a firm believer in a play based atmosphere and believe there is a smart way to work curriculum into a program while finding a way to let kids, well, just be kids!
