Hi, Roland here with the Music Side Of Town Blues Band. I am looking for an alto/tenor saxophonist, and a keyboardist, to perform in our band. We do all original blues music using the tried and true 12 bars blues progression and a few other variations thereof, primarily in the keys of E and G. Improvisation and extemporaneous playing would be the initial approach, with arrangements growing out of performances and rehearsal sessions. Most tunes involve an introduction, verse, chorus, (repeat once or twice), ending format. Currently we are a four piece band: rhythm guitar, bass, drum, lead guitar. Our next gig is Aug 21 and I am hoping to find some players who would like to give us a try on that date.
