Seeking creative, intelligent, experienced, knowledgeable, musicians, to work together on improvisation based on deep listening. Influences include, but not limited to: Bartok, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Miles, John Cage, Grateful Dead, Keith Jarret, Morton Feldman, Coltrane, Hendrix. Must be intuitive and collaborative. Any instrument will do, but I am particularly interested in percussion. If you have little experience improvising, don't worry; that I can teach you.
The process will be: get together on a regular basis to work, record the results, listen, think, repeat. Listen, listen, listen! When we have something worth hearing, seek opportunities to perform.
I have a strong classical background, have performed with orchestras and chamber music in both Europe and the US, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading, and York Symphonies. I have performed locally at Tellus 360, the Lancaster Trust, the Ware Center, Roschel, and numerous small venues. My improvisation CD is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Kenor/dp/B01HH1C6H4/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1542474331&sr=1-1&keywords=kenor
