Alchemy Data Centers LLC, has been operating regional private data centers in Southern California since 1995 in downtown Los Angeles and Irvine, CA. Alchemy is actively looking for a full-time data center facility maintenance staff member. Facilities Maintenance functions requirements: Essential Functions • General clean up and daily waste disposal • Handyman skills • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs. • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling under raised floor tiles. • The ability to prioritize and multi-task • Familiarity of cooling systems, electrical panels and battery systems helpful. • Must be able to organize facility inventory that is not neat or organized currently • Maintain daily logs of maintenance and safety activates • Report any minor or major maintenance needs and or take corrective action as appropriate • Communicate with guests/customers when necessary to resolve maintenance and installation issues • Be passionate about delivering consistent excellence • Ensures compliance with health and safety programs and protocol • Accountability for document management integrity • Ability to use a diverse set of tools • Ability to review work for accuracy and customers satisfaction. • Ability to learn new skills . Qualifications • Previous maintenance experience preferred • Intermediate skills in MS Excel • Proactive thinking • Competent communication skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Accurate data recording skills • Ability to meet production and quality standards for yourself and staff • Ability to observe processes and suggest improvements • Professional demeanor Job Type: Full-time
