Tank Washer/General Warehouse 1st and 2nd shift available 3-12 schedules $15.00 - $17.00 hr. Position Overview: The Tank Washer is responsible for safe operations, ensure all equipment are appropriately cleaned, and maintaining a clean environment in the washing area. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assure that SOP’s are followed and production performed in accordance with GMP • Foster a team environment by promoting a teamwork atmosphere with all employees • Provide “hands-on” training to new employees • Document activities in logbooks incorporating good manufacturing practices • Sanitize fill material contact area with 70% alcohol solution. (Ex: Inside tank, hose, valves, tools, utensils, etc.) • Maintain a clean environment such as walls, sinks, and floors • Removal of leftover compound and gelatin with supervisor’s approval • Check all machine and tanks for label status • Clean all tanks, utensils, covers, etc. • Wear the required personal protective equipment • Adhere to gowning procedures • Operate equipment in a safe manner • Report any foul play, accident, and complaint of personnel • Assure MFG. equipment is in proper working order, request maintenance work orders, when necessary • Suggest procedure revisions that produce efficiency in production dept.
