My name is Nella Buffmire. I have been tutoring Spanish and English for 13 years, and love watching my students grow while they learn a new language. My intention is for you to have an opportunity to immerse yourself in the Spanish language during your lessons. While living in Austin, TX I owned my own Spanish tutoring business for 3 years and still tutor some of my students online from Texas. I'm lowering my in person rates $10 and offering private online Spanish classes for $30/hr. For in person classes I charge $40/hr and believe in immersing my students in Spanish through excursion and conversation which they can engage in. I have a passion for the language and culture, which I love to share with others. Recently I have dedicated my life to learning languages myself, I am currently learning French an Portuguese. I know what it takes and the drive you need to continue. I have had the opportunity to see my students grow from being scared to speak to having confidence in their speaking ability in Spanish and/or English through utilizing a combination of grammar and speaking activities. My Philosophy - Create a learning environment catered to each individual's learning styles. - Assist adults and children with vocabulary and language in conjunction to their career growth (if applicable). - Teach language in an active setting, utilizing, games, activities and outside excursions.
