Job Title: Warehouse/Shipping Associate – Full-time and Part-time Pay Rate: $16-$17 / hour Hours: F/T M-F 8am-4:30pm (30 min lunch) P/T hours can be somewhat flexible. M-F 1st shift hours. Job Description: A warehouse associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders, unloading inbound containers, keeping the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion, etc. We are looking for full-time and part-time associates. Qualifications: With deep roots in sporting goods, AMPAC is a teamwork-based company. A successful candidate will require a positive attitude, the ability to work well with other employees, a sense of urgency, flexibility to perform duties as needed, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Valid Driver’s License * Great physical stamina with the ability to safely lift, push, pull and carry boxes sometimes exceeding 50 lbs., as well as ability to spend majority of time walking on hard floors and standing for long periods of time * Reliable team player with positive attitude and good attendance * Ability to understand and apply work methods that drive accuracy and speed * Ability to work occasional extra hours, as needed * General computer knowledge – learning Ampac computer system / UPS Worldship / FedEx / etc to process outgoing shipments * Unloading, sorting, and staging incoming product * Make accurate mathematical calculations * Ability to pack and ship orders accurately following set processes * Ability to work occasional overtime * Keep a clean and safe working, organized environment and optimize space utilization * Operate equipment including but not limited to: Pallet Wrapper, Dolly/Hand Truck, Conveyor System * Assist with returns and inventory counts * Work effectively as a team member – communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers Full-time associates are eligible for benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 401(k), HSA, FSA.
