Seeking a vaccinated sitter or sitters for the school year to help with walking-distance school dropoffs and pickups on the Upper West Side (ideal for a nanny or housekeeper who has 8:30-5:30 type hours with another family in the neighborhood already, or who otherwise lives/works right here). Probably under 5 hours of actual work per week but would pay for, say, 7.5hrs/wk (some flexibility for less or more - happy to add some tasks like laundry and light kitchen work if looking for more) given the disjointed nature of the hours. Some help bringing to/from activities on weekends, and additional occasional sitting also a possibility on top of regular hours if desired. $18-20/hr ($540-600/month for 20 days of dropoff+pickup).
Children are sweet and communicative 3 and 5yo boys, both going to different schools within 7 blocks of our home in the mid-West 80s with start times around 8am and pickup around 6pm (both will be in onsite aftercare programs). Older son may have 1x/wk afterschool activity slightly farther away (9 blocks) that ends around the same time. Children may occasionally grumble about leaving one place for another until routine is established, so looking for someone well liked by kiddos and skilled at managing transitions and safely crossing streets.
