A longstanding and robust food program exists at St Mark's Lutheran in Madison. The Covid-19 pandemic has stressed and stretched many families in the Madison area. Here at St Mark's we remain determined to close the gap on food insecurity. We are in need some additional volunteers. Friday Community Meal - Free and open to anyone. All are welcome. In our well equipped kitchen, led by a culinary trained chef, St Mark's prepares and serves a free hot meal every Friday from 12pm-1pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions this is a "to-go" hot meal. Meals are boxed and set out for guests to "grab and go." No inside eating allowed at this time. Guests are required to wear masks while inside the building. We need your help on Friday from 10am until about 1:30pm. Particularly the 1st Friday of the month and the 5th Friday of the month. However, there may be opportunities on other Fridays.
