Truck Driver – Apple Packing Warehouse (Union Gap) Straddle Truck Driver – Receiving Dept Summary Responsible for transporting empty bins and bins with fruit to and from orchards. Transport fruit and supplies or equipment between company locations, as needed. Duties • Operation of class A and class B trucks and trailers, including straddle trailers • Responsible for truck/trailer trip inspections • Ensure compliance with DOT requirements • Transport fruit from various orchard locations to warehouse • Transport empty bins to orchard and storage facilities, as needed • Safely operate forklift to load/unload truck, if needed • Abide by Company’s Food Safety Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Requirements Pre-employment DOT Drug/Alcohol Test Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate Forklift Experience; certification preferred, but not required Available to work extended hours and/or weekends, as needed Many warehouse positions also available!!!
