Reporting to IAC’s site EHS/Facilities Managers and/or Specialists, the EHS/Facilities Support Technician is responsible for assisting EHS/Facilities to ensure company environmental health and safety policies are upheld, and to maintain the facility running at peak production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain inventory tooling and equipment cribs, ensure no lift zones, lift and rolling ladder padding, is in proper working order. • Preform and log preventative maintenance on all ground support equipment, HVAC, and facility. This includes scheduling with production and insuring that the maintenance is done in a timely fashion and not to impede with the work scope of production. • Preform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual services, (forklift daily inspection, weekly filter change, monthly lift inspection, annual lighting change, and annual primary filter change). • Provide daily entry and file as required shift turnover logs and preventative maintenance calendars and logs. • Preform exterior hangar tasks based upon seasonal needs. • Hazardous Waste collection, transportation, storage, labeling and disposal. • Treat water and preform preventative maintenance in accordance with company procedures of water treatment plant. • Check broken tooling area and fix tooling in a timely manner • Assist with continual improvement systems. • Document chemical and water treatment as required on discharge reporting log sheets. • Remove from the hangar floor, repair and replace any damaged or unserviceable ground support or paint equipment. • Maintain 5S principles of Sorting, Systematic Arrangement, Shining, and Standardizing and Sustaining with heavy emphasis on housekeeping of the facility’s exterior grounds, ground support equipment storage areas and GSE maintenance shops. Position Requirements: • Ability to read and write English, must have extremely strong communication skills, be able to multitask and prioritize. Education and/or Experience: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-to-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and time tracking programs.
