Position Summary: We are a private family with homes in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are looking to hire a motivated and fast-paced support and household management professional with a proven track record who can oversee home cleaning, organization, period meal preparation, errands and child transportation. This position is full-time and year-round. Generally, a 40-hour work week spread over 7 days depending on the monthly schedule is standard for this position. There will be multiple days off per week based on the monthly schedule needs. Requirements: Strong cleaning skills and at least three years of experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or in a related position in a private home required. Previous experience managing household cleaning and coordination a plus. Only candidates local to the greater New Orleans area will be considered at this time. Responsibilities: A selected candidate will ensure the proper cleaning of multiple family homes, handle cleaning of the short-term rental units, coordinate purchase of cleaning supplies, groceries and other small items, and be responsible for light meal preparation. In addition, transportation of children to and from activities. They will also run a few household errands per month and may assist in coordinating contractors as needed on property. General Schedule: Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM availability; flexibility required. This will only be 4-5 days per week depending on the monthly schedule requirements. Compensation: Up to $45,000 per year offered, depending on experience. Paid holidays, paid time off and an insurance option will be considered after a 90-day probationary period.
