Environmental Works is a locally-owned environmental company looking for full-time Radon Mitigation Technicians. Radon is a naturally occurring gas that comes from the ground that can get trapped in homes & buildings. Long-term exposure to the gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer after cigarette smoking - but there is a solution, YOU! Our radon technicians install mitigation systems in both residential and commercial properties to reduce radon to safe levels. The right candidate will not mind crawl spaces, working both indoor & outdoors, heights, or a hard days work. Construction experience and familiarity with power tools is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Job Done Right is our Motto. Work Hard, Play Hard is our Culture. Requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • A positive, can-do attitude • Self-motivated team player • Demonstrate the ability to manage time & multitask • Ability to learn quickly • Ability to communicate clearly & effectively • Good customer service skills • Must have a valid driver's license • Be able to pass a background check • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions. • Ability to work in crawlspaces and on tall ladders • Previous experience in construction/remodeling a plus We offer our family of employees paid time off, paid holidays, 401k, and a great medical plan for employee, partner, and family with company contribution.
