Bass Player and Others Sought

Howdy I'm looking for a bass player and possibly another guitar player to work up a few cool old tunes with. Rock, Blues, Old Country, Folk, Reggae... Nothing particularly complicated or aggressive. It's important to me that you're local because... traffic, etc. I'm just off Lindero Canyon Road. I'll list a bunch of bands, but having an appreciation of the Grateful Dead would be a tremendous help. Particularly in the way they treat cover tunes... as their own. Dylan, Stones, The Band, Leon Russell, Canned Heat, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, AllBros, Jeff Beck, Clapton, Burrito Bros, Los Lobos, Dave Alvin, B.B, Freddie and Albert, plus more obscure stuff. Just having friends to play with is the reward. But, I'd like to get out gigging and recording asap. Please be informative in your response. Links would be great.
