CDL A Driver: Mann and Parker Lumber Company, a well established wholesale lumber distributor since 1902, has an opportunity for a Full-time CDL-A licensed driver with a current medical certificate and good driving record. Two years driving experience is preferred. The job involves deliveries to PA and surrounding states with occasional overnight runs. No weekends and home most evenings. No tarping. Some hand-unloading with assistance. Fueling and maintenance thru Ryder. Production work on lighter weeks available. Starting wage commensurate with experience. Administrative Associate: We welcome individuals with general office and accounting experience. Must be computer literate, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), calculator, and miscellaneous office machines. Duties include, but are not limited to answering main switchboard & routing calls to appropriate department, data entry, typing, filing, distributing incoming & processing outgoing mail, copying / scanning / faxing / emailing / assisting as needed for multiple departments, Accounts Payables, Billing, Accounts Receivables, assisting with month end closing, as well as other marketing/accounting duties as assigned. We are looking for an individual who is detail oriented, able to multi-task, accurate, and hardworking. Lumber Grader: Mann and Parker Lumber Company is looking for a Lumber Grader. The successful applicant must be able to move boards weighing up to 40 lbs., have a good working knowledge of basic math, be detailed oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on safety and quality. Prior experience in the hardwood lumber industry and in particular, lumber grading, is a plus, but not required. We will train the right motivated candidate looking for a career. Mill Machine Operator/Material Handler: Job duties include processing of lumber through our mill department, processing and packaging orders for shipment, and submitting all associated paperwork. Maintenance Mechanic: Job duties include, but are not limited to; maintain diesel forklifts, welding, machine maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, general electrical work, general maintenance. We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to travel and sell to established customers within the Central Pennsylvania area. All sales experience types will be considered. Occasional overnight travel will be required. Entry Level Sales Opportunity: We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic outside sales representative to spend days in the field meeting with clients and prospective clients in the hardwood lumber industry (furniture manufacturers, hardwood doors and hardwood floors, etc.) in our Pennsylvania territory. Position requires individual to develop relationships and solicit sales. The job requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide a superior customer experience. An ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, strong interpersonal skills and salesability! Responsibilities: Develop long lasting relationships with existing and prospect customers in assigned territory, visit customer physical locations along a pre-planned route, proactively identify opportunities for additional business from existing customers while visiting them in-person, as well as hunt for new business at prospective customers, periodically attend trade shows and quarterly Marketing Meetings, overnight travel required, Ideally, a candidate will have experience working with customers - we will teach the rest! We are seeking an individual who will work with our purchasing team in procuring lumber and also selling to our National accounts. We are looking for a career minded individual who is ready to take on that next step. Since 1902, Mann and Parker Lumber Company has been a leader in the wholesale hardwood lumber industry. This position will purchase lumber for our inventory from sawmills and other lumber yards. Additionally, this candidate will do national sales. You will work from our office in New Freedom, PA; however, travel will be required.
