MOUNT AND BALANCE WHEELS & TIRES INTERVIEWING WEDNESDAY-TUESDAY (8/11-8/17) WALK IN WELCOME Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety Before work begins, ensure that mileage and VIN is on the work order in addition to all required information for billing. Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and BMS records Performing tire services such as rotations, mounting, balancing, flat repairs. Assists with suspension work & alignments Be able to document charges for materials, equipment and supplies to jobs as well as reporting any damage Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness. Prior to vehicle leaving shop (job completion), ensure that all parts, jobs performed and necessary notes are made on the work order. General housekeeping duties such as trash removal, floor sweeping water/ice/dirt and/or snow removal. Ensures cost-effective usage of all equipment, supplies and tools in shop
