seeking fellow music lovers to jam/start a band

hey there! i'm in my mid-20s and am looking to make some musical connections in the area. i've played in bands as a guitar player, but would be ecstatic to get some experience hanging on bass under my belt. happy to play either! skill/age doesn't matter to me (wouldn't call myself a virtuoso), just looking for others who are passionate about playing music. here are some artists that influence me: The Band, Motörhead, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Ween, Pink Floyd, John Prine, The Doors, T. Rex, Grateful Dead, Fugazi, The Dead Milkmen, Jimi Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, Funkadelic, John Lennon, Wire, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, Nat King Cole, Wipers, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Guided by Voices and Pixies i've got gear and transportation, but wouldn't want to drive more than 25-30 miles to play. i'm happy to pitch in for a rehearsal spot as well. shoot me a text/email if you'd like to get to know me more or hang/jam!
