Carolina Lift Stations services lift stations and other water/wastewater equipment in North and South Carolina, providing Installation, Maintenance, Low Pressure Repair, Gravity Sewer Systems Repair, Weekly Inspections, Annual PM, Annual RM and Emergency Repairs. We are growing rapidly and need to build our field team.
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is the first step in learning the business. This position will assist and learn while performing the work in all areas of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment found in water/sewage pumping stations, well pump systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants. You will learn how to perform tests to determine operating efficiency of the equipment, how to document the readings and prepare the necessary reports. You will also learn how to troubleshoot and participate in results analysis. The work will involve pumps of all sizes, air compressors, valves, chemical feed equipment, electrical controls, piping, and associated buildings. Participation in training and safety meetings, and cross-training and other work assignments with our highly skilled team of field technicians will give you the chance to learn every aspect of the job. Technicians are required to travel out of town a minimum of one week a month, possibly more based on the workload. As your skill level grows, you will be included in the on-call schedule.
