Site superintendent / carpenter position

Small, established green building firm is seeking to hire a site superintendent / carpenter for upcoming new home. Individual must have extensive experience in residential construction, both new and renovations. This position requires wearing a tool belt daily and executing high quality work. This is not a project manager position. Individual must have a truck and tools, be 100% reliable, honest, intelligent and professional. This is 1099 paid position for the duration of 1 specific home. (could be more) Ideal candidate would also have a few side projects of their own for any down time throughout project. Some weeks might be less hours some might be 40+ depending on construction schedule. We're breaking ground in apprx. 4 weeks. The expectations for this position includes making sure any work being done on site is being done right. Working closely with subs and doing whatever is necessary daily to keep the work flowing. This also includes maintaining a clean and organized job site. There will be lots of carpentry, siding, decking, etc and general construction work for this position.
