Position Summary As a Field Supervisor with Carolina Home Exteriors, your primary responsibility will be to lead Crew Leaders and Subcontractors to ensure the safety, quality, and productivity on residential job sites. In this role, you will direct 4-6 installation crews and will work directly with our Production Manager and other team members to meet production goals, project deadlines, and customer needs. The Field Supervisor must ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget without compromising on quality. You will conduct daily inspections on multiple construction sites to ensure that the production process runs smoothly and report results to the Production Manager. The Field Supervisor is the customer’s primary contact for project updates and questions once construction begins. You must command good knowledge of executing scheduled projects and overseeing construction crews in our residential construction production environment with exceptional organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time position. Typical hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our Field Supervisors are paid $45,000 - $55,000, with the opportunity to exceed $60,000 with incentives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Effectively coordinate and audit all activities related to the entire process of the construction, including safety protocols, timeliness, budget, and quality of workmanship, with the ultimate goal of complete customer satisfaction - Oversee Crew Leaders, Installation Teams, and Subcontractors, and address project complications efficiently Administer training, recognition, and disciplinary actions among the workforce - Execute schedule and monitor the production process and departmental activities relating to material, labor, and equipment availability - Perform crew worker activities as needed - Ensure proactive communication practices between the customer and the installation crews - Ensure the collection of customer payments - Confirm maintenance of all company vehicles, tools and equipment - Work with the management team to devise and implement process improvements - Support preparation of materials and equipment for production - Work with department managers to implement solutions to improve production methods, performance, and quality - Perform other related duties as assigned by management Qualifications and Requirements - Minimum of 5 years residential construction leadership or field supervision experience required - High school diploma or GED required: Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred - Strong communication skills – written and verbal - Strong analytical, leadership, and planning skills - Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Attention to details - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Exceptional work ethic - Outstanding customer service skills with a positive team-first attitude - Excellent problem-solving ability and works well under pressure - Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
