Sievert Electric in Forest Park has an opening for a Permanent Part-Time Driver/Shipping Clerk Main Responsibility: Make deliveries/pick-up of parts to various job locations thru out the Chicago Land Area. Additional Responsibilities: Accurately picking customer orders Packing orders for shipment Generating shipping labels using UPS Worldship and a similar program for Postal Service Priority Mail labels Receiving new inventory Restocking pick shelves Repackaging inventory General maintenance of warehouse General office duties Skills Needed: High School Graduate Must have Valid IL Driver's License - will run a background check on driving history Must be able to pass Drug Test and Pre-employment mobility test Must be able to lift 75# for restocking (most orders are less than 10#) Stand for long periods of time Must be Detail Oriented, Efficient, Follow directions well, and Dependable Flexibility in workflow a must. Our business is growing so we need team members who are task oriented who can adapt to a changing work routine. Must be a team player and thrive in a small business environment. Strong Basic Computer Skills: Comfort with the Internet, MS Office, E-Mail and the ability to learn basic computer software programs with training. Additional desirable skills • Experience Answering Phone and E-Mail • Data Entry to Process Returns and Credits • Forklift experience Benefits: Friendly and casual work environment with great people 5-6 hours/day average depending on workload Approx. 28 hours/week 7:00 am til 1 pm Monday -- Friday only.
