Marlboro, NY apple farm is seeking full-time seasonal labor for their packing facility. This position is responsible for sorting fruit into boxes and bags for shipment to various chain grocers. Duties include but are not limited to: • Packing fruit into boxes/bags • Assembling boxes • Stamping boxes • Stacking boxes onto pallets • Daily & weekly cleaning of facility Physical Requirements: • Constant standing • Use of both hands • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to work 10 hrs/day, 6 days/week during harvest Use of gloves, apron and hair restraints required. Strict adherence to safety standards is required. This position is seasonal with duration lasting until the last fruit is packed.
