Brass2Copper Mechanical Inc., is a 100% Employee Owned ESOP and we are looking for a Driver to join our team! Summary: The Driver will primarily be tasked with local pick-up and delivery which includes the individual to safely load and unload materials at multiple locations. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience driving a 25ft Flatbed Must maintain a current/valid California, Class C driver’s license DMV printout current within 30 days Be at least 18 years of age (insurance requirement) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to load and unload material Able to operate a manual pallet jack Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Safe working habits. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver material to various job sites Providing an effective and incident free delivery or pickup Loading, unloading and moving material that includes heavy lifting of plastic and steel pipe bundles of up to and or over 50 lbs. Safe operation of a manual pallet jack The unloading and loading of materials at construction job site locations; safely and without damage Promote a safe work environment. Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance. Other various duties as assigned. Must be able to physically navigate a construction/jobsite and able to sit at a desk for long periods of time when in office. Work Environment: The environment is primarily on construction sites. The construction environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
