PORTER / GENERAL LABOR Several Openings | Hiring for IMMEDIATE START! Location: Brooklyn - NYC - BRONX ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE! Previous Porter experience is not required! The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is confident in their abilities, and willing to learn and take on additional general labor assignments as requested within a warehouse facility. The day-to-day responsibilities of a Porter include: • Ensuring all key areas of the warehouse are clean and safe for employees • Sweeping and cleaning floors • Pushing bins, emptying trash, working with bailers and compactors • Notifying managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems Additional responsibilities/assignments would include: • Loading and unloading store delivery trucks • Assisting on the production line (selecting, packing, sorting and organizing) • Assisting the management team with inventory maintenance • Responding to emergency maintenance requests throughout the warehouse as required • Other duties may be required as requested by your manager REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years or older; Comfortable performing heavy lifting; Possess a good work ethic; Attention to detail; Comfortable working in various climate-controlled areas (refrigerated/chilled, freezer, & dry) ALEXIS 212 537 3886
